My fellow Rent Board Commissioner Jack Harrison just passed away after an illness.
He was a combination of gruff common sense & thoughtful idealism, and I learned a lot from him in the short time that I worked with him during our shared campaign for office in 2008 and during this term on the Rent Stabilization Board.
